About
What We Do
We are the boots on the ground, assisting families through the most challenging moments of life and death, hope and despair. Our organization supports families and children in various ways:
-
Home Visits: We visit those affected by gun violence, connecting them with essential resources.
-
Funeral Support: We attend the funerals of fallen youth to speak about violence prevention and offer our support to their communities.
-
Violence Prevention Initiatives: We aim to expand our efforts through children’s educational field trips, enrichment activities, and community events.
Who We Serve
Our mission extends beyond supporting families affected by gun violence; we also strive to prevent reckless actions among youth. By offering them a glimpse of a better alternative, we hope to give them a chance at a brighter future. Our services are specifically targeted at youth from marginalized communities, ages 8 to 18.
Our Founder
“My every waking moment is spent on building up the community that I once helped tear down. This organization is my contribution to implementing change for generations to come." - Jaron Nabors
